About Ramavarma club
Ramavarma District Club, Alleppey was established in 1894 on a plot of land gifted by the then Maharaja of Travancore, His Highness Sreemoolam Thirunal Ramavarma Maharaja, situated in the heart of the town, the Club now hosts about 900 members drawn from the elite of Alleppey and Kerala. Alappuzha has a rich legacy of trade and industry. It is well known as the 'Venice of the East'. The town is the prime center for production and export of Coir products and Gold ornaments. It is fast growing into a tourist spot attracting thousands from all over the world. Set on the lean stretch of land between the Arabian Sea and the Vembanad Lake, Alleppey has a unique place in the tourism map. The town is situated on NH 47 about 65 Kms south of Cochin and 155 Kms north of capital city Trivandrum. Facilities for houseboat rides on placid backwaters and comfortable stay in the resorts with Ayurvedic health care make Alleppey a dream destination for tourists.

Club Facilities

Food & Accommodation
The rooms are basic and simply furnished with single and double beds. Alcoholic drinks, such as, spirits and wine are often locally produced. Our concern is that you receive tasty food including two hot meals per day, which is always freshly prepared.
